This is simply an amazing book. The story just builds with anticipation, bold lines and blank space, leaving the mind to wander in its emptiness, and at the same time, structure. Is it really a grid, or a page of parallel universes? Who knows. But page after page it draws you in (or you just draw in it).Truly one of the most significant works of literature and art in decades.

The quadruple notebook is reasonably good. There is some see-thru front-to-back. Not terrible though. I've definitely experienced much worse in that regard. The cover seems a little flimsy but somehow it has managed to stay intact getting dragged around from place-to-place in my backpack and on my workbench. I'd say it was a worthwhile purchase. I'd have given it 5 stars if it was slightly less see-thru, but it works well enough. I will probably buy more of this brand when I need it.

The notebook has 50 pages in it, not 100. You do get 100 grid sheets, counting front and back, but it is a little thin and some drawings may bleed through from front to back. However, I only paid $3.96, so it is a REALLY good price. I will purchase again if the price stays close to the same. I like that it is a full 8.5 X 11. Serves my purpose for designing miniature furniture pieces. This grid pattern is 5 blocks equals 1 inch.

Perfect price for a two pack. Good quality, will purchase for math class again.

The outer cover is flexible (oder composition books had hard covers).

A very good introduction to both Bankruptcy as well as general creditor/debtor law and remedies. The book is divided into two general themes - about a third is on general creditor law, including state court remedies and receiverships. The second two-thirds is on bankruptcy, and Professor Epstein does a great job covering both consumer and business bankruptcy, focusing on Chapters 7, 11 and 13. He is consistent in referencing code sections and providing concrete examples of application. The nutshell is light on case references, but long on practical insight.

This is a good reference book to bankruptcy law, and highlights only the basics. I use this as a refresher for certain concepts when I get rusty, but for in-depth review of concepts, I would go elsewhere.

Epstein's book was one of the first to provide a concise intro to bankruptcy law. A number of students have found other books easier to understand with regard to Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. For an introduction to Chapter 11, the book that is getting great reviews is: Chapter 11 Business Reorganizations: For Business Leaders, Accountants And Lawyers.

I used this Nutshell to help create my outline and fill in holes towards the end of the semester. I thought the book was well-organized and appreciated its explanation of confusing code sections. I wish I had purchased this book earlier in the semester since using it thoughout the class would have been beneficial. Summary: Much like other Nutshells - very helpful!

This is probably the worst of the guides available for bankruptcy law. It seems to have been put together in a hurry, maybe to be the first guide on the market to address the 2005 amendments. I had to look else where after being disappointed with this and prefer the following:1. Baird's Elements of Bankruptcy (awesome!)2. Blum's Examples & Explanations

2005 Amendments are not in the burgundy colored BNK law book - they are in the new one. The cover is blue. The burgundy colored one in OLD law. Buy the new blue one (2005) that has the new amendments in it.

I was tricked into thinking this was the new book that covered the new code! If it isn't the 2005 edition with the blue cover.....then don't put the #$@#$#$ 2005 edition cover on display!!!!!!!!!Amazon really SUCKS sometimes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was just as the title described, "Italy's best trips" but the itineraries were quite lengthy and didn't jibe with our 8 days in the country. If I'd browsed through the pages in a bookstore, I wouldn't have bought it. Also in the age of smart phones, I'm not sure how relevant accommodation recommendations are. We almost didn't take it with us - and didn't refer to it while we were there. We left it with our Airbnb host in Florence.

Get book with full of resources and advice.

We've driven and traveled several times to Italy, and recognize that a single book cannot possibly cover the entire country. But, if you would like a pretty good overview of the entire country and where you might want to go (next?), this will serve the purpose. Suggestion: buy a used copy or even a previous edition used -- less than a buck.Pros:+ Several road trips covering the entire country; Tuscany is the usual suspect.+ Superficial -- OK for broad strokes but no road map here.+ Tear-out map of Italy includedCons:- Lack of depth -- you will need a more focused guide and you smart phone may be all you need.- Feels "commercial" -- a collection of tourist brochures.So, if you can buy it cheaply enough, four stars for a good overview of Italian road trips or as a starting point for further research.. I will admit to being a sucker for books like this. I love books that offer ways to improve your time management, limit interruptions, and streamline your life. Lifehacker helps you do all that and more. It is the most practical book I have read on this subject, and I promise that it will improve the way you work.There are a ton of "theory" books out there. Books that will tell you to spend your time more productively, not visit certain site, and get rid of all the extra emails. All great advice, but it can be hard for you to put into place without the right tools. Adam Pash and Gina Trapani give you those tools in Lifehacker. From email reduction to time-wasters to creating doable to-do lists, this is the best resource to turn to.The book is structured in an easy to read way. At the beginning of each hack, the authors tell you the three most important pieces of information right up front:Level: How easy is this going to be?Platform: Where do I use this? I read it straight through in a weekend and now I am going back through, and following their clear, detailed instructions to implement very meaningful changes to the way I work. They have included hacks for everyone - newbies to geeks.This is an outstanding example of book written to take full advantage of the digital format. They have included many links, allowing readers to go deeper into the content if they want. The table of contents is like a toolbox filled with gems. After reading it on my ipad, I downloaded it to my desktop and I am working from there to upgrade my digital life.Lifehacker continues to be a Lifechanger!

LOVE the book it, has LOTS of really helpful "hacks" that I wasn't aware of. I gave it a four star rating only because it is becoming obsolete quickly and an updated version would clean up hacks that either no longer exist or that have morphed into something different under a new name. I would buy a newer revised edition in a heartbeat!

An excellent resource for ways to do things better...what things? All KINDS if things! I found myself making many more Kindle bookmarks than I normally do....and sometimes I had to throw the book down and go try the idea right then, will definitely refer back to this book often. Also love the blog on my RSS feed (made better by the tips here).

I love stuff like this... and actually know several people who could use this. I am already doing much of what's recommended so it wasn't as helpful for me as it would be for someone who is digitally insanely disorganized.I think I will buy this for clients as gifts tho.

Very nice book but old, they should do a revised and updated version. For example, the book suggests Truecrypt as the best encryption software, but the Truecrypt project is now officially abandoned and users are suggested to migrate to other more reliable software.
