$300 less than buying this textbook at the campus bookstore. (Priced $300-360) The cover is exactly as pictured, white cover, yellow text bubble, med students on the front. It made me nervous considering the lab manuals, etc, I've seen, have a blue cover but it is exactly as needed for class. This is an international version of Hole's Anatomy and Physiology 14th Edition, it's just paperback. Access code and lab book are separate.

I got this for my Anatomy Physiology class and it saved me about $150. The rental price was more than what I paid to own it. The text and the diagrams were exactly the same as the instructor was using for every single lecture. I only had one dependency the entire semester on one of the "Clinical Application" sections, but it was insignificant as the instructor knew some of the 210 students in the class were using older versions of the text anyway and didn't care because 99.9% of the material was exactly the same. If you are a Pre-med, nursing, dental, what ever... do yourself a favor and this is the textbook you are required for class, get it. Don't be scared. It's the same book with a different cover. In fact, it's a softcover, so it weighs less than the hardcover version.

The book is great. It is a nicely organized and written introduction to anatomy and physiology. It is very informative, which also makes it very useful for a review if you had already taken A&P course but it’s been while.There are also tools that come with the book to help with studying such as LearnSmart or Connect that are very good for practice. They include quizzes, crossword puzzles, animation videos etc. However access to those can be a bit expensive depending on which membership you choose. The price range is between $50-100 (That’s in addition to the cost of the book).You can also purchase SmartLearn or Connect separately by itself which comes with the electronic version of the book too.

This is a great anatomy book that I bought to use for a required anatomy and physiology class for nursing school. It is very informative and I received an A in the class I took so it must've helped. I'm still continuing on with my nursing education and I've used this book for other classes and for clinical homework. The only thing I didn't like about this particular edition I bought is that it wasn't bound - looseleaf with three hole punch so I had to put it into a binder for safe keeping. Im wishing I would've gotten the hard bound book, they're a little more expensive but well worth it if you plan on using this book for awhile. Some of the pages have ripped.

There was a little wear on the book and some of the pages were creased, wrinkled, and a few pages were slightly torn at the bottom, but it does not effect the ability to read the material in the book in anyway. Over all I'm satisfied with this product and would purchase from this seller again.

I have found this text book to be very informative. The information is easy to read and comprehend and is aided by many pictures, diagrams and tables. Every chapter is well organized and broken down into sub-sections. The end of each chapter has a well thought out chapter summary that makes for a great review of the material. The drawings are detailed and nicely labeled and it also provides real life cadaver photos so it's not just full of the cartoon-ish diagrams. Also, the publisher's web site has videos, flash cards, memory games, practice quizzes etc.I ordered this used from an Amazon seller and was very happy with the quick shipping, low cost and good product description.

The paperback international version is identical to the US hardback version. I was worried it wouldn't be quite the same, but it was! And it saved me a ton of money. Other students in class are envious. Never buy textbooks from the college bookstore if you can help it!

This book flows nicely. It gets straight to the point without being overly wordy. Anatomy is not the easiest subject for me, but this book does a good job of explaining the human body and it's functions very clearly and concisely. The diagrams are plentiful and clearly show all viscera, muscles and bones. These authors make use of drawings and cadavers. You really begin to understand the workings of the body systems and exact locations of all bones, muscles and cavities from posterior, anterior, lateral, and ipsilateral views....absolutely every angle and region is covered. A good amount of pathology is included within this book.
