This is a wonderfully useful collection of the basic theological works of Martin Luther. If you are studying Luther, this is truly essential. I was especially pleased to find Luther's Disputation Against Scholastic Theology, which came out in September 1517. (It has been called "Luther's Forgotten 97 Theses.") The importance of that particular work is that you can see already the man who would take on Erasmus in the Bondage of the Will, and the Roman Catholic Church on indulgences as well as standing firmly at Worms saying, "Here I stand."This is well worth having if you are a pastor, and not even a Lutheran one!
This was used as a class text the problem was it did not list page numbers (some kindle versions do) my professor was kind enough to look at the table of contents and let me know what I should be reading. The portability of the text was wonderful as was the ability to highlight important passages.
There is not enough reading of primary sources, and this is one worth reading if you want to understand Luther.
Nice selection, useful for my classes at an international seminary where I don't have the complete works available.. I find the introductory statements useful for my understanding.
Best book on Luther in years. Could not put it down. Read again, it was so interesting. Highly recommend.
This needs to be in your theological library. Lull's collection of Luther's works is invaluable to the theological student/pastor or layperson. It is easy to navigate and contains the great highlights that you need.
Came in very nice clear wrapping, great condition and paper quality!
It gave great insight into Martin Luther's thoughts.
